Terms of Use
Last updated October 1, 2026.
By using HOA Rights Lab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Information, not a law firm
The articles, state pages, and letter tools are general information about homeowners associations in the United States. They are not legal advice, not a legal opinion about your home, and not a substitute for reading your governing documents and the current statute. We are not your lawyers. Using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Your facts are yours
You are responsible for what you send an association. Check every date, dollar amount, and statute citation before you send a letter. A template can be wrong for your community even when the blank fields look filled in.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. Statutes are amended, and a page can lag behind the legislature. We do not promise that a page is complete, current, or fit for your dispute.
Limitation
To the fullest extent the law allows, HOA Rights Lab is not liable for decisions you make after reading a page, including money you pay, letters you send, or deadlines you miss. Some states do not allow certain limitations. In those states, the limit is the smallest one the law allows.
Ads
Paid placements will be labeled. An advertisement is not our advice and not our endorsement of a product, a contractor, or a lawyer.
Use of the pages
You may read and share links. You may not copy the site and republish it as your own, and you may not scrape it in a way that degrades the service.
